Newton’s Second Law of Motion

Newton’s 2nd law of motion tells us about how force, mass and acceleration are related to each other. It is given by

F = ma

Where F = net force,

m = mass of the body,

a = acceleration acting on the body.

Here acceleration acting on the body is directly proportional to net force and is inversely proportional to mass.

In simple words It states that

The momentum change rate is proportional directly to the applied force and takes place in the direction of force.
