Kenyans lose millions in new sim card fraud

There has been a public uproar over incidents of fraudulent sim card swapping that have seen many lose money through mobile phone transactions. Several Kenyans went to complain and give their experiences at the hands of sim card scam artistes who they allege have been using the name of mobile phone provider Safaricom to defraud them. As Makori ongechi reports, Safaricom has released a statement warning subscribers to protect their personal information and never to share with any questionable callers purporting to be working for the company.
