Quikr.com Is A Fraud Company Making False Promises

Quikr.com as we know is a buy/sell online marketplace where people can sell their used or new products and interested buyers can buy products. Quikr’s main business is in selling premium ad places on their website.

I wanted to sell my desktop computer, so I placed a free ad on Quikr and right after that, I upgraded my ad to premium. For 30 days, my ad would have been displayed at the top of the search results for my city for Desktop Computer.

After signing up for premium ad, I got a call from Quikr sales department. Mr. Laxman I Gore from Quikr asked me to buy the 10 ads package and pay Rs 1200. He gave me a lot of false promises and lied to me repeatedly. He gave me 3 promises:

1. He will optimize my ad for search engine rankings.
2. He will optimize my ad for different nearby cities and will place ads at the top of search results for all 10 cities.
3. My desktop computer will be sold within 7 days and if it does not sell, then Quikr will arrange to pickup the computer and sell through their warehouse.

Mr. Laxman gave me a lot of other promises which were ALL FAKE! A couple of days later, I got another call from Quikr customer service. Mr. Ganesh from customer service called to tell me that my 10 ads package was activated successfully. I informed him about the promises Mr. Laxman had done but Mr. Ganesh said that I should forget about all of those promises.

It is shocking and such a shame that company of this scale will lie to it’s customers just to sell premium ad placements. I paid Rs 1380 on top of the Rs 136.80 that I had already paid for premium ad placement.

Now all I want is my money refunded but this company is going on and on with unfriendly policies. They are pushing me to use that 10 ads package. But I just wish to get a refund for all the false promises their sales department person Mr. Laxman gave me.

Nothing would restore my faith in Quikr unless they refund my money and apologize to me for their false promises.

I warn you all to stay clear of this company called Quikr and rather list your products at some other site of your choice. Do not fall a victim to this fraud company known as Quikr.com!
