Once you have the skill, it’s awesome, but Facebook has a darker side when it comes to that learning curve no one wants to talk about. The real questions are whether you can afford to compete with other PPC marketers by checking out the cost of Ads on Facebook and Google AdWords.
Here’s the flawed rational: “”Because if Facebook ads work (and when used correctly they work for 99% of businesses) then the real key is figuring out how to use them in your business for maximum impact.”” So, do it because everyone else is? That’s terrible business building advice.
The actual cost of ads on Facebook will vary depending on a lot of different factors. This may seem obvious, but the time of year does have a huge impact on the cost of ads on Facebook. The click through rate, the rate at which your ads convert into leads, is another factor in determining the cost of ads on Facebook.
So, what’s the Bottom Line – Are Paid Facebook Ads worth it? If you have more than $5,000 to spend on learning, then yes. Otherwise; find another solution.
